贊曰：依理為酬。女相已無，云不在。元非實女，何所變？又法性空，何者在？何者變？舊云「無在無不在」，無有實女昔在今不在。元無實女，何在不在？

Commentary: Replying according to reason. The female form is already absent, which is called "not present." Originally there was no real woman; what then has changed? Furthermore, the nature of dharmas is empty: what is present? What has changed? The older [translation] says: "neither present nor absent"; there is no real woman who was formerly present and is now absent. Since originally there is no real woman, how could she be present or absent?
