贊曰：第四有兩句，依小修大行。聲聞自利，不濟眾生；菩薩處之，為他說法。獨覺亦爾，無大慈悲；菩薩有之，成熟有情。

Commentary: In the fourth section there are two phrases, which rely on the small while cultivating great practices. The Śrāvakas benefit only themselves and do not rescue sentient beings; the bodhisattva dwells among them yet expounds the Dharma to others. The Pratyekabuddhas are likewise [self-benefiting], devoid of great compassion; the bodhisattva possesses it to mature sentient beings.
