5.557

贊曰：雖現身處羸疲劣弱醜陋之形，眾所憎惡，而得勝妙那羅延天身。那羅延天身最為第一，眾所樂見。雖現老病，而能離此根本業惑，超生死中五種怖畏。

Commentary: Although he manifests an emaciated, feeble, weak, and ugly form that is detested by everyone, he attains the superior and wondrous body of the deva Nārāyaṇa. The body of the deva Nārāyaṇa is foremost of all, delightful for all to behold. Although he displays old age and sickness, he is able to abandon the fundamental karma and afflictions behind these, transcending the five kinds of dread within saṃsāra.
