贊曰：此中有三，一僕使、二親友、三眷屬。伎女亦入眷屬所攝。煩惱為賤隷，任意起滅故。覺分為親友，能成菩提故。能成佛因，皆名覺分，非三十七菩提分也。六度為眷屬，攝受萬行故。四攝為伎女，能生利樂故。

The commentary says: Here there are three: first, servants; second, friends; third, retinue. Singing girls are also subsumed within the retinue. Afflictions are the menial servants, because they arise and cease at will. The factors of awakening are friends, because they can accomplish bodhi. All causes capable of accomplishing buddhahood are called factors of awakening, not just the thirty-seven bodhipakṣa-dharmas. The six pāramitās are the retinue, because they encompass the ten thousand practices. The four means of attraction are the singing girls, because they can generate benefit and joy.
