Commentary: Below are five verses, which match mundane matters with supramundane practices to answer the previous question. There are six [points]: 1. taking birth, 2. manifesting lands, 3. making offerings, 4. cultivating actions, 5. miraculous transformations, and 6. destroying evil. Herein there are four: 1. Although there is no saṃsāra, one intentionally takes birth in the realms of desire and form. 2. Being able to manifest Buddha-lands, illuminating like the rising of the sun. 3. Making offerings to the Tathāgatas: the three factors are empty in essence, completely free from discrimination, and also include the offerings as being empty in essence. 4. Although knowing that Buddha-lands and sentient beings are empty, one cultivates the work of pure lands and the work of benefiting beings, never resting nor growing weary.
