5.682

The Commentary says: That which can be ruined and destroyed is called the mundane; its opposite is called the supramundane. Comprehending that the mundane is empty, initially one does not enter, and subsequently one does not exit. Because of not entering, one does not drift with the flow of saṃsāra. What the old [translation] called 'overflow' has the meaning of flowing and overflowing. Because of not exiting, neither is there dispersion or extinction away from the mundane. Since the object is like this, the mind also does not grasp.
