The Commentary says: This is the second alternative explanation. The former explained non-duality in terms of continuity; this one is in terms of the moment (kṣaṇa). Or, the former was in terms of defiled dharmas; this one is in terms of pure dharmas. A dharma of a single moment is momentarily extinguished into non-existence; being definitively free from exhaustion, it is precisely inexhaustible. Because within a single moment the exhaustible is non-existent, the inexhaustible is also non-existent. Comprehending that both are fundamentally empty, discrimination does not arise, which is called entering non-duality. The older [version] said, 'If it is ultimately exhausted, it can no longer be exhausted,' hence what is exhaustible is itself the inexhaustible.
