6.122

贊曰：此釋利相。菩薩座樹香氣皆流，彼聞妙香即得勝定。定為根本便能發慧，菩薩功德因此而生。定能發生一切功德，故名一切德莊嚴定。

Commentary: This explains the characteristics of benefit. Fragrance flows from the trees under which the bodhisattvas sit; when they smell that marvelous fragrance, they immediately attain a superior concentration. With concentration as the foundation, they can give rise to wisdom, and a bodhisattva's virtues are born from this. Because concentration can generate all virtues, it is called the concentration adorned with all virtues.
