贊曰：下答。有二：初四段，唯示惡因果，令生厭斷；後有廿對，通示善惡，令生欣厭。此初段，有五句示惡果。無暇生者，八無暇處生也。無暇之義，如前已說。三惡趣中，應說處所形量若相命限，如餘處辨，恐繁不述。

Commentary: The following is the answer. It has two parts: first, four passages only showing evil causes and effects to cause them to feel revulsion and eliminate them; afterwards, twenty pairs showing both good and evil together to cause them to feel aspiration and revulsion. This first passage has five clauses showing evil fruits. "Birth in inopportune times" means birth in the eight inopportune places. The meaning of inopportune times was explained previously. Regarding the three miserable destinies, one should explain the locations, bodily dimensions, characteristics, and lifespans as differentiated elsewhere, but fearing excessive length, I will not discuss them.
