贊曰：此合說也。誨者示也，喻者曉也。苦切曉示，令其調伏，趣入正位。

Commentary: This is the explanation through synthesis. 'Admonishing' means showing; 'illustrating' means making understand. By making them understand through bitter severity, they are brought to be tamed and to enter the true status.
