贊曰：下顯。為八。見彼於己有恩，成己菩提故。非己於彼有益，不見大利故。況說三事空，有希善根。

Commentary: Below, revealing. There are eight. Seeing others as being of benefit to oneself, because they bring about one's own bodhi; not considering oneself as being of benefit to them, because one sees no great gain [therein]. How much more so when speaking of the emptiness of the three wheels—how could there be any expectation of wholesome roots?
