贊曰：昔不聞法，設聞疑謗，故沈生死；今得聽聞，應斷疑謗。

Commentary: Formerly, not hearing the Dharma, or even if hearing it, doubting and slandering it, one thereby sank into saṃsāra; now having the opportunity to hear it, one should cut off doubt and slander.
