6.204

贊曰：調伏自心，令離眾惡。以心如猨猴難可禁制，故應調伏。吾日三省尚為世仁，況常思過、不毀他非，非菩薩也。

Commentary: Taming one's own mind, causing it to depart from various evils. Because the mind is like a monkey and difficult to restrain, it should be tamed. 'Reflecting on myself three times a day' is still considered benevolence in worldly affairs; how much more so should constantly reflecting on one's faults and not denouncing the errors of others be expected of a bodhisattva!
