贊曰：稟命不輕，各還本座。表將涅槃，所以先坐，坐必臥故，臥極涅槃。
Commentary: Receiving the command not lightly, each returned to their original seats. Symbolizing the approach of Nirvāṇa, they therefore sit down first; for after sitting one must lie down, and lying down culminates in Nirvāṇa.
