6.250

贊曰：二鶖子傍通。有三：初鶖子答、二阿難問、三鶖子述。此初也。阿難白佛，佛答菩薩毛孔所出。鶖子不聞，說已亦有，遂自陳誠。

Commentary: Second, Śāriputra's lateral clarification. There are three parts: 1. Śāriputra's reply, 2. Ānanda's question, 3. Śāriputra's explanation. This is the first. Ānanda had addressed the Buddha, and the Buddha replied that it was emitted from the pores of the bodhisattvas. Śāriputra had not heard this, but saying that they also had it, he then gave his own honest account.
