贊曰：此重徵也。菩薩利物，命進問安，談謔設座。座雖久設，談謔次施，故調吉祥何不威神加護諸德令其緘默乃爾無酬。

Commentary: This is questioning again. Bodhisattvas benefit beings by inviting them forward to inquire after their health, and jesting while arranging seats. Although the seats had long been arranged, jesting was carried out next; hence he teased Mañjuśrī: 'Why do you not use spiritual power to support these virtuous ones, causing them to be so silent and offer no reply?'
