6.328

贊曰：此設指陳聽聞難盡。念者，明記。總持者，聞文義持。多聞者，廣聞三藏，久積聞故。

The Commentary says: This hypothetically points out that listening and hearing is difficult to exhaust. 'Mindfulness' means clear recollection. 'Dhāraṇī' means retaining what has been heard of the text and meaning. 'Having heard much' means having broadly heard the Tripiṭaka, because of having accumulated hearing over a long time.
