6.376

贊曰：此有三句。一流轉滿所修，舊云「生死無數劫」，文少意異。將新解之，然此句居前，前句居後。二聽法堅自心。三修慧害煩惱。般若如刀杖，禦害煩惱諸怨賊故。上六六度。

Commentary: Here there are three clauses. First, transmigrating to fulfill what is cultivated (the old version says 'saṃsāra for countless kalpas', with fewer words and different meaning; we explain it by the new [translation], but here this clause is placed first, while the former clause is placed after); second, listening to the Dharma to strengthen one's own mind; third, cultivating wisdom to destroy afflictions. Prajñā is like a sword and staff, because it repels and destroys the enemy-thieves of afflictions. The above six are the six pāramitās.
