6.404

贊曰：此有四句。觀自身無我，不厭身故，不入涅槃。觀他無有情，化他無倦。雖觀涅槃，而不畢竟永入寂滅，化眾生故。雖觀真如，遠離苦身，而得安樂不厭身心，願安樂不厭身心，願盡生死度有情故。

Commentary: Here there are four clauses. Contemplating one's own body as non-self, because of not wearying of the body, one does not enter Nirvāṇa. Contemplating that others have no sentient being, one transforms others without fatigue. Although contemplating Nirvāṇa, one does not definitively enter into eternal cessation, because of transforming sentient beings. Although contemplating tathatā, transcending the body of suffering and attaining peace and happiness, one does not weary of body and mind, because one vows to exhaust saṃsāra to liberate sentient beings.
