贊曰：自下第三，歡喜供養讚德而還。有三：初聞法歡喜、次花香供養、後讚禮而還。此初也。聞法開發曾未悟者，勸勵已悟諸菩薩心，故大歡喜，身心踊躍。

The Commentary states: From here down is the third section: rejoicing, making offerings, praising virtues, and returning. It has three parts: first, hearing the Dharma and rejoicing; second, making offerings of flowers and incense; third, praising, bowing, and returning. This is the first. Hearing the Dharma developed those who had not yet awakened and encouraged the minds of the bodhisattvas who had already awakened; therefore, they experienced great joy, and their bodies and minds leaped with delight.
