贊曰：下思移佛事。有二：一移華、二移階。此移華也。十方佛國欲作佛事，先以蓮華或寄或散。如說般若，隨其近遠，十方世界皆寄蓮華，與釋迦佛而作佛事。法華化佛，寄華亦爾。彼淨土中有此蓮華，故今移取。

Commentary: Below is reflecting on moving the Buddha's activities. It has two parts: (1) moving the flowers; and (2) moving the staircases. This is moving the flowers. When the Buddha lands of the ten directions wish to perform Buddha activities, they first send or scatter lotus flowers. As when preaching the Prajñā[pāramitā], according to proximity or distance, the worlds of the ten directions all sent lotus flowers to Śākyamuni Buddha to perform Buddha activities. When the transformation buddhas of the Lotus Sūtra sent flowers, it was also like this. In that pure land there are these lotus flowers, and therefore they are now moved and taken.
