贊曰：三思移大千示諸大眾。下從水際，不取金風，留所依故。至色究竟，不取無色，無形器故。西方取華，以繩之貫，為髣嚴飾。持彼置手，相亦類之。

Commentary: (3) Reflecting on moving the great chiliocosm to show it to the great assembly. Below, starting from the water limit, he does not take the gold and wind [mandalas], leaving behind that upon which they depend. Ascending to Akaniṣṭha, he does not take the Formless Realm, because there is no physical receptacle. In the Western regions, when flowers are gathered, they are threaded on a cord to resemble an ornament. Holding them in the hand, the manner is also similar to this.
