贊曰：此明驚問。聞諸有緣菩薩發問，無動垂告。聞此語已，為方驚問。佛既先告，後皆審知，故此無答。

Commentary: This explains being startled and asking. Hearing the bodhisattvas with karmic conditions ask, Akṣobhya graciously declared [the cause]. Having heard these words, they were then startled and asked. Since the Buddha had already declared it, they all subsequently examined and knew it, and therefore here there is no answer.
