贊曰：自下第二世尊印述。有二：初印可前說、後述經勝益。此初也。於喜不背，讚揚慶助，是名隨喜。舊云「吾助汝喜」，彼非隨喜，義勢相背。

Commentary: From here below is the second part: the Bhagavat confirms and elaborates. There are two parts: first, confirming what was previously said; second, elaborating the supreme benefits of the sūtra. This is the first. Not going contrary to joy, but praising and celebrating in assistance—this is called rejoicing in accord (anumodanā). The old translation said 'I assist your joy'; that is not anumodanā, as the intended meaning is contrary.
