6.598

贊曰：下述經勝益。有二：初說勝故勝、後校量故勝。初中復二：初同宣勝法、後便成供養。此初也。菩提要抄不可虛廣而陳，故皆於此法門略說開示。

Commentary: Below, it elaborates the supreme benefits of the sūtra. There are two parts: first, it is supreme because what it explains is supreme; second, it is supreme by comparative evaluation. In the first part there are again two: first, jointly proclaiming the supreme Dharma; second, thereupon constituting an offering. This is the first. The essential summary of bodhi cannot be expounded in vain expansion; therefore, it is all briefly taught and revealed in this dharmaparyāya.
