贊曰：便成供養也。宣三世佛無上菩提無相真理、無上覺慧，今見隨順，則為法供養三世如來，如來之德不過理慧二門攝故。此中有八：一聽聞、二信解、三受持、四讀、五誦、六為說、七書寫、八供養。其施他修習，准此亦然。

Commentary: Thereupon constituting an offering. By proclaiming the animitta true principle of the anuttarā-bodhi of the Buddhas of the three times and their supreme awakening wisdom, now, to accord with it constitutes an offering of Dharma to the Tathāgatas of the three times, because the virtues of a Tathāgata do not exceed what is subsumed by the two gates of principle and wisdom. Here there are eight: first, hearing; second, believing and understanding; third, receiving and upholding; fourth, reading; fifth, reciting; sixth, preaching for others; seventh, copying; eighth, making offerings. Giving it to others to practice is also understood in this way.
