6.66

贊曰：下第二段得食而返。有七：一香臺與食、二菩薩請來、三彼佛許勅、四彼眾至此、五化座待之、六食香普薰、七眾聞驚悅。此初也。有一香器，能生眾香，盛滿香食，授化菩薩。佛力所加，盛食授與，顯佛慈悲欲為利益，自盛付之。或顯由佛力，未必自盛。

Commentary: Below is the second section: obtaining the food and returning. There are seven parts: 1. the Fragrant Platform giving the food; 2. the bodhisattvas requesting to come; 3. that Buddha granting permission and instructing them; 4. that assembly arriving here; 5. emanation seats awaiting them; 6. the fragrance of the food pervading and perfuming; 7. the assembly smelling it and becoming alarmed yet joyful. This is the first part. There is a fragrant vessel that can produce numerous fragrances, filled to the brim with fragrant food, which was handed to the emanation bodhisattva. Empowered by the Buddha's power, he filled the vessel with food and gave it, revealing that the Buddha out of compassion wished to bring benefit and personally filled and handed it over. Or it reveals that it was due to the Buddha's power, not necessarily personally filled.
