6.704

後之二品讚授流通中，前法供養，讚歎流通；此之一品，付授流通。若不丁寧付授，或恐慢法不明，故鄭重付之，令生信學。以言付授名屬，重疊告之稱累。此品廣明，名囑累品。

Among the final two chapters on praising, conferring, and circulating, the preceding chapter on Dharma-offering praised and circulated it; this one chapter entrusts and circulates it. If it were not attentively entrusted, it was feared that [people] might slight the Dharma and not understand it; therefore, it is solemnly entrusted to cause them to generate faith and study. Entrusting with words is called "zhu" (entrusting); repeatedly enjoining is called "lei" (charging). This chapter explains this extensively, hence it is called the "Chapter on Entrustment."
