Commentary: Here there are four virtues: first, the virtue of being able to defeat non-Buddhists, because of attaining fearlessness; second, the virtue of approaching the ten powers of a Buddha, because of subduing the enemies that are Māras; third, the virtue of internally harmonizing with the true realm, because of deeply entering the profound Dharma; fourth, the virtue of skillfully rescuing all sentient beings, because of being skilled in the pāramitā of wisdom and penetrating skillful means. 'Wisdom pāramitā' refers to the tenth jñāna-pāramitā, the wisdom that matures sentient beings. The skillful means that thoroughly penetrates and benefits is the upāya-kauśalya-pāramitā.
