二、別釋者，別釋五章也。今先解釋名章。若依四卷題，但作三字，無「帝王」兩字。若依經文，有經王之義。若說若不說，俱亦無妨。今釋名為五：一通別、二翻譯、三譬喻、四附文釋、五當體釋。

Second, as for the specific explanation, it specifically explains the five chapters. Now I first explain the chapter on explaining the title. If one relies on the title in four fascicles, it consists of only three characters and does not have the two characters “Sovereign King” (de-wang). If one relies on the sūtra text, it has the meaning of “king of sūtras.” Whether they are stated or not stated, neither presents an obstacle. Now I explain the title in five parts: first, general and specific; second, translation; third, metaphors; fourth, explanation according to the text; fifth, explanation according to the intrinsic nature.
