3.19

從「如是人王」下二十五行半，是第二廣發來願。文為二：初一行佛述、後二十四行半是龍尊發願。文為五別：初五行夜夢晝說願、次兩行為他取淨土願、次兩行半同求記莂願、次三行下化願、次十二行上求願。其間細釋可尋。問：諸願皆剋，此中何不與記？答：法伴未來，來在不久（云云）。

From "Such a king among men" downward, twenty-five and a half lines are the second [part], broadly making vows for the future. The text is divided into two: the first line is the Buddha's recounting; the subsequent twenty-four and a half lines are the dragon king's making of vows. The text has five distinct sections: the first five lines are the vow to dream by night and explain by day; the next two lines are the vow to take a pure land for the sake of others; the next two and a half lines are the vow to seek prediction together; the next three lines are the vow to transform those below; the next twelve lines are the vow to seek [enlightenment] above. The detailed explanation therein may be sought out. Question: All vows are fulfilled; why is no prediction given here? Answer: The companions in the Dharma have not yet arrived, but their arrival will not be long [delayed] (and so on).
