二、「是」下，隨釋，三：初、能遊人，三：初、釋是時，二：初、舊解；二、「今」下，今釋。不用古人五種三時，但論佛鑑機得道時。又得道猶通，須約三智冥三諦時，方盡如來鑑機之相。佛欲等者，乃是化儀，非謂今日鑑照方知。

Second, from "This" below, explaining in detail, in three parts: first, the person capable of roaming, in three parts: first, interpreting "at this time", in two parts: first, old explanations; second, from "Now" below, the present interpretation. Not using the five kinds of three times of the ancients, he only discusses the time when the Buddha scrutinizes capacities and realizes the Path. Furthermore, "realizing the Path" is still general; one must refer to the time when the three wisdoms merge with the three truths, for only then is the Tathāgata's scrutiny of capacities fully expressed. "The Buddha wishes to..." and so forth refers to the ritual of transformation; it does not mean that he only comes to know by scrutiny today.
