2.125

初、通別。通論可見。若別論者，見惑執我，愛但著事，此之二惑皆具三毒。執我三毒若其不遂，則多愁憂。著事三毒既不執我，但恐不遂必無愁憂。

First, general and particular. The general discussion can be seen. If discussed particularly: the delusion of view grasps at a self, whereas craving merely attaches to things; both of these two delusions possess the three poisons. If the three poisons of grasping at a self do not attain their desires, there is much sorrow and anxiety. Since the three poisons of attaching to things do not grasp at a self, they merely fear not attaining their desires and are certainly free of sorrow and anxiety.
