初、止善因緣。因是善本，緣是資助，為成慈心故除殺具。二、「夫食」下，行善因緣，準止可知。

First, the causes and conditions of the good of cessation. The cause is the root of goodness, and the condition is the auxiliary support; in order to accomplish a mind of loving-kindness, one eliminates the instruments of killing. Second, from 'Now food' onward, the causes and conditions of the good of practice; by analogy with cessation, it can be known.
