二、明施食，二：初、明行相，二：初、明事法權實二；二、明事法食體二。初明事食輕重，依報食輕、正報食重。二、「經言」下，明法食權實。經是此經〈流水品〉云「未來當施法食」也。世間，人天也。出世，三教也。上上，圓融也。

Second, clarifying the giving of food, with two [parts]: First, clarifying the practice-characteristics, with two [points]: First, clarifying the phenomenal and Dharmic, provisional and real, with two [points]; second, clarifying the substance of food, phenomenal and Dharmic, with two [points]. First, clarifying the light and heavy in phenomenal food: food for the circumstantial reward is light, food for the direct reward is heavy. Second, from 'The sūtra says' onward, clarifying the provisional and real of Dharma-food. 'The sūtra' refers to the 'Chapter on Jalavāhana' in this sūtra, which says: 'In the future, I shall bestow the food of the Dharma.' 'Worldly' refers to humans and devas. 'World-transcending' refers to the three teachings. 'Utmost supreme' refers to perfect integration.
