初、此地初開者，大凡小聖，無明所覆境界局狹。今破此惑，故以廣博表之。

First, "this ground initially opening": general great and small sages are covered by ignorance and their realm is narrow and confined. Now this delusion is shattered, so it is represented by vastness and breadth.
