二、「經」下，引經證，二：初、引經文。二、「圓」下，會經意。經就位論，持唯在果。今約圓觀，初心即能頓持佛戒，以觀實相因果無殊。若不爾者，云何能以如來莊嚴而自莊嚴？

Second, from "the sūtra..." downward, citing the sūtra for proof, in two parts: first, citing the sūtra text. Second, from "the complete..." downward, harmonizing the sūtra's meaning. The sūtra discusses this in terms of stages; observance lies solely in the fruit. Now, with reference to the complete contemplation, the initial mind is already able to observe the Buddha's precepts completely and suddenly, because in contemplating the true characteristic, cause and effect are not distinct. Were it not so, how could one adorn oneself with the Tathāgata's adornments?
