二、「如實」下,口稱四實而說,二:初、約法示。實等四句亦乃不出本覺之性,以此覺性真空畢竟故名為實,具足緣起故名不實,二不相礙故成雙亦,二無二相故即雙非。覺性無偏,四皆全分,實攝三句,乃一實一切實。不實攝三,餘二亦爾,是故四句皆云一切。其圓解者雖談一句,一外無餘,何有一言不稱本覺真實之性?是故四句皆得名為如實說也。
Second, from "In accordance with reality" downward, explaining that the mouth preaches according to the four realities, in two [parts]: first, presenting in terms of the Dharma. The four phrases, beginning with "real," also do not go beyond the nature of original enlightenment. Because this enlightened nature is ultimately true emptiness, it is called real; because it fully possesses dependent arising, it is called unreal; because the two do not obstruct each other, they form both-both; because the two lack dual marks, they are neither-neither. The enlightened nature is unbiased, and all four are fully complete: "real" subsumes the three phrases, being one real and all real; "unreal" subsumes the three, and the remaining two are also like this; therefore, all four phrases say "all." When one of perfect understanding speaks a single phrase, outside that one there is nothing remaining; how could a single word fail to accord with the true nature of original enlightenment? Therefore, all four phrases can be called speaking in accordance with reality.
