二、「齊此」下，斥局。下從造無間業者上至圓教等覺，故云位長。位位橫論，各有三障煩惱頭數、結業流類苦報等差，故云義廣。古人何為但在凡夫？

Second, from "up to this point" downward, refuting narrowness. Descending to those who commit actions of the unspaced [hell] and ascending to equal enlightenment of the complete teaching, it is therefore said that "the stages are long". Vertically considering each stage, each possesses the threefold obstacles of the afflictive heads, kinds of binding karma, and gradations of painful retributions, so it is said that "the meanings are broad". Why did ancient authors restrict it only to ordinary beings?
