三、「亦有」下，無生。言觀空者，析法明空也。觀造罪心本無主宰，念念無常，無誰能作、無是業報，我見若亡，諸使永寂。此觀若成，四趣則除，三界須出。小乘三懺，其相略然。

Third, from "there is also" downward, [treating] non-arising. Speaking of "contemplating emptiness" means discerning emptiness through the analysis of phenomena. One contemplates that the mind producing offenses fundamentally has no master or controller, being impermanent from thought-moment to thought-moment; there is no one who can act, nor is there this karmic retribution. If the view of self perishes, all anusayas are eternally pacified. If this contemplation is perfected, the four destinies are eliminated, and one must transcend the three realms. The marks of the three repentances of the Lesser Vehicle are roughly like this.
