初、對報示。現前色心名正受者，未成報者有繫屬能。若修善禪諸無漏道，則來責報現諸業相、或密為障，不依大乘三種懺法，此障不滅。

First, showing it in contrast with retribution. The present body and mind are called direct reception; that which has not yet matured into retribution has the capacity of tethering and binding. If one cultivates wholesome dhyāna and the various outflow-free paths, then [past karma] comes to demand retribution, manifesting various karmic signs, or secretly creating obstacles; without relying on the three kinds of repentance methods of the Mahāyāna, these obstacles cannot be eliminated.
