二、「斷諸」下，願無為功德滿。此約真位，垂形九道調伏眾生，任運不與惑苦相應。是斷德故，故名無為。故海東法師云：「始覺斷障，是實斷斷。本覺斷障，是不斷斷。」正與今家智覺二德其義齊也。

Second, from "sever all" downward, he vows to fulfill unconditioned merit. This is based on the true stage: extending forms into the nine paths to tame and subdue sentient beings, spontaneously never corresponding to affliction and suffering. Because this is the virtue of severance, it is called "unconditioned." Therefore, Master Haedong [Wonhyo] said: "The initial awakening that severs obstacles is genuine severance-severance; inherent awakening that severs obstacles is non-severance severance." This precisely accords in meaning with our school's two virtues of wisdom and severance.
