二、「汝既」下，斥古誣經。言有縱奪，縱知應化、奪迷報法。報法乃是應化體本，深文淺解，自毀毀他，自既招愆，令他謗教也。

Second, from 'Since you' downward, reproaching the ancients for misrepresenting the sūtra. The words have concession and refutation: conceding knowledge of the response and transformation [bodies], but refuting delusion regarding the retribution Dharma. The retribution Dharma is the fundamental substance of response and transformation. Shallowly interpreting deep text harms oneself and harms others; having incurred wrongdoing oneself, it causes others to slander the teaching.
