初、敘。虛空等者，新經〈三身分別品〉云「虛空藏菩薩白佛：『云何菩薩於諸如來甚深祕密如法修行？』」指此為敘也。

First, relating [his view]. As for "Ākāśagarbha, etc.": the "Chapter on the Distinction of the Three Bodies" in the new translation of the sūtra says: "The Bodhisattva Ākāśagarbha addressed the Buddha: 'How do bodhisattvas practice in accordance with the Dharma regarding the profound secrets of all Tathāgatas?'" This points to this as the preface.
