二、「大經」下，明因緣通。四智皆觀十二因緣，智淺深故，得菩提道四種高下。彼經四智意彰四教，故知因緣不局在小。

Second, from 'The Great Sūtra...' onward, clarifying that conditioned arising penetrates. The four wisdoms all contemplate the twelvefold conditioned arising; because the wisdom has shallowness and depth, one attains four kinds of high and low on the path to bodhi. In that sūtra, the four wisdoms are intended to reveal the four teachings; hence we know that conditioned arising is not confined to the Hīnayāna.
