二、「既不」下，雙結二空。智雖空境，智須自亡，是故境智俱云不得。二、「通菩薩」下，以菩薩例結。前論析觀乃三藏法，以對今品體觀屬圓，故以通教鈍根菩薩不能體中亦屬析觀，故云通菩薩亦然。

Second, from 'Since neither...' onward, jointly concluding the two emptinesses. Although wisdom empties the sphere, wisdom must itself disappear; therefore both sphere and wisdom are said to be unobtainable. Second, from 'The shared bodhisattva...' onward, concluding by exemplifying with the bodhisattva. Previously, discussing the analytical contemplation was the Tripiṭaka Dharma; in contrast to the present chapter, embodied contemplation belongs to the round [teaching], and therefore, because the dull-rooted bodhisattva of the shared teaching cannot embody the middle, this also belongs to the analytical contemplation; hence it says 'the shared bodhisattva is also like this'.
