4.303

初、明中觀。眾苦行業，指上生法。當體妙故，不可思議。若生若法皆非空有，如是體達名為中觀。此觀不見生死輪轉有際有息，即法界故無際，皆常住故不息。

First, clarifying the contemplation of the middle. "The karmic activities of manifold sufferings" points to sentient beings and phenomena above. Because their very substance is wondrous, they are inconceivable. Sentient beings and phenomena are both neither empty nor existent; fathoming them in this way is called the contemplation of the middle. This contemplation does not see the wheel-turning of birth and death as having a boundary or an end; because it is identical to the Dharma realm, it has no boundary; because all are eternally abiding, it does not end.
