5.131

初、明己身增長，二：初、生起八事；二、隨事釋經，當依生起次第消之。經聚落者，落，居也。人之聚居，故名聚落。山澤者，下有水曰澤。宿衛，謂止宿衛護。五果者，即經云「壽命、色、力、辯、安」也。此之五果，由食而致。

First, clarifying the increase of her own body, which has two parts: first, the arising of the eight matters; second, explaining the sūtra according to the matters, which should be unpacked following the sequential order of arising. In the sūtra, as for "settlement (juluo)", luo means residing. Where people gather to reside is therefore called a settlement. As for "mountains and marshes", where there is water below, it is called a marsh. "Guarding and escorting (suwei)" means stopping over to guard and protect. As for "five fruits", these are what the sūtra calls "lifespan, complexion, strength, eloquence, and ease". These five fruits are brought about through nourishment.
