初、以護胎答第二問。未入護者猶在中陰，已入護者處在胎藏。此之二時多為鬼害，故假天護。

First, using protection of the womb to answer the second question. Those protected before entering are still in the intermediate existence (antarābhava); those protected after entering are in the womb. During these two periods, they are mostly harmed by ghosts, so they rely on heavenly protection.
