Third, discussing Baoming in terms of two persons. The dependent and primary [retribution of Baoming] and the king's raining of treasures match the three dharmas. Practitioners should know that the single dharma nature is called Suvarṇaprabhāsa; how could light and splendour ever be separated from gold? How could golden light ever be separated from splendour? Now, separately pairing these three names with the dependent and primary, self and other, person and thing, is to enable one to realize that the dependent is not separate from the primary, self is not separate from other, and person is not separate from thing. Because in Suvarṇaprabhāsa, raising one is immediately three, and all three are one, neither vertical nor horizontal, yet lofty and vast, every single object is an ocean of Suvarṇaprabhāsa, and every single thought is the secret treasury of the three virtues. If it were not so, how could it be called the King of Sūtras?
